Graduation Fundraisers- Ham and Scone Lunch is on Thursday, March 29/07.
Bake Sale - Donations are needed for Thursday, March 29/07.

Science Fair- J.C. Hill School Science Fair has been moved to April 3/07. Projects are due March 30/07.

Badminton tryouts continue on Thursday, March 29th from 3:15 - 4:15. Please have rides pre-arranged. First cuts will be made after this practice.

Extra! Extra!


There are a limited number of We Will Rock You tickets still available. An extension was granted to finalize our numbers, so the first 10 people to get their forms and deposit in will be able to go on the trip.

Graduation Fundraiser:

Corn Soup and Ham and Scone order forms were sent home today. These are due back on Tues., March 27 and the lunch will be on Thurs., March 29. Proceeds go to the gr. 8 Graduation Funds.

Students were sent home with a note on future graduation fundraising ideas. Hopefully lots of parents will volunteer to help out.

Science Fair Projects

Students started this 2 weeks ago. Once their design is completed, they will bring home their presentation board to complete the experiment at home. Good luck with your experiments. These are due next week already!!!

Badminton Will Rock You!

Badminton practice will be on Thursday, March 22 at 7:45 to 8:30 am. Mrs. Martin will be at the school at 7:30 for those arriving to warm-up earlier. Permission forms were sent home today. Further practice times and dates will be given out at the first practice. Students must remember that academics, attitude and attendance are factors in participating in our sport activities at J.C. Hill.

Don't forget that We Will Rock You tickets are available and a deposit must be made by this Friday to ensure your spot. First come, first served. There are only a limited number of tickets available. To see more info on the performance, click here

Homework Support

Every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6-9 pm, homework support is available for all grade 6-12 students. Bring your homework, assignments and projects for that extra help from our tutors. We also have computers for research projects and essay writing. See you at Six Nations Polytech next week!

Tues., March 6/07

Science- As of tomorrow, all classes will be introduced to the science fair project that each student is required to complete. Students are introduced to the projects in Science, conduct research on it in Computers, and design the project in Design and Tech. Many of the procedures will be done at home.

Students may work with a partner. Display boards will be handed out when the design component is completed. All projects are due at the end of March.

Students Dismissed Early


Students were sent home early today due to the impending doom and gloom of a blizzard/freezing rain storm on its way. Roads were set to get worse as the day progressed, so students were sent home at 11:45 - 12:30.
